Stiper Quars was developed with children in mind, being a treatment that is simple and can be left and forgotten. Below you will find a number of different points that will help your child through some of life’s challenges. Please remember tho, if the symptoms are serious or are not improving please seek professional advice. Stiper Quars works well with Western Medicine. When treating children remember to use the smaller Stiper Quars, size 6 works the best for most acupoints on a small child or baby. All acupoints have the same/similar effect on adults as children however certain illness affect children or babies more. Below are a few extra uses for some of the acupoints we have already learnt and a few new ones.
Large Intestine 4 (LI4)
This point has been discussed in a previous topic and is used for nasal congestion. In children there have be great success in treating pain associated with teething, headaches, and in some cases helped colicky babies find relief. As noted before we find this acupoint in the web between your thumb and pointer finger.

Pericardium 6 (P6)
As discussed in the previous topic Motion Sickness, this work just as effectively with children and babies to calms the mind while engaging the body’s natural energy for healing abdominal pain and digestive issues. Pericardium 6 is a go-to point for calming the spirit. If your child is having trouble concentrating, sleeping through the night, or socializing due to anxiety applying a Stiper Quars to this point will be a great help.

Governing Vessel 12 (GV12)
This point is considered one of the most calming point for children. It is known for strengthening deficiencies and promoting strong development in children. It has also shown signs to help with epilepsy. This acupoint clears heat from the Lung and Heart and has traditionally been used to aid in realiving coughs, asthma, chest pain and mentioned classically for whooping cough.
Location: On the midline of the upper back, in the depression below the the third thoracic vertebra.

Governing Vessel 26 (GV26)
Some kids are hyperactive and have chaotic energy flowing within their meridians. They suffer from mild to severe learning disorders. Point GV 26 balances this energy to ground a child’s sense of herself or himself, and thus is effective for changing a child’s hyperactivity. Discover the roots of dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, using acupressure. This one maybe difficult to keep on the child for long periods due to it’s location, you may also be best to use Stiper Quars # 3 for this point. It is located between the nose and the lip on the midpoint.
